Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

At Bridge Street Jewelers, we stand behind all of the items that we sell. All sales are final. We accept returns only if the item is misdescribed. If an item does not match its description, we must be notified within 48 hours upon receipt of the package. Notice is accepted by either e-mail, or as we prefer, by phone. In the event that we can't satisfy you, Bridge Street Jewelers will send you an insured shipping label for return.

 

As our business margins are small to provide you with the best quality at the best price, if you return an item for other than the reason above, we have to charge a restocking fee.

 

For domestic sales: The restocking fee is 10% plus the cost of shipping both ways.

 

For international sales: The restocking fee is 15% plus the cost of shipping both ways.

 

With approved returns, the item must be returned unworn, in its original condition with all boxes, papers, and accessories as originally shipped. We have photographic records of each inventory item so it is easy to verify. Any warranty cards that were sent without your name and date, must be returned blank. If personalized, the item is NOT returnable.




Shipping

Shipping will only be overnight with full insurance provided by a specialty insurance company and will only ship to a "Verified Address" and requires an adult signature. We will not, under any circumstances, ship an item without insurance. Don't bother to ask! A "Verified Address" is the billing address of your charge card or your bank account. Should you want it shipped to a work address, it is your responsibility to set that up with your card carrier or bank. We of course, will verify the address with the appropriate party before shipping.

Shipping charges are based on the value of the item, and the weight of the box. Certain brands such as Panerai, Audemars, and Corum have bulky and heavy boxes which can increase overnight shipping costs. Please contact us for an individual quote. We do not make a profit on shipping and therefore reserve the right to pass on any surcharges by the shipper in excess of the listed shipping price.

International shipping is by individualized quotes. If you are outside the lower 48 states, please contact us before your purchase for a shipping price. Please note that we only ship to certain international destinations. Please contact us prior to bidding to see whether we ship to your location. We do not ship to Indonesia or Nigeria, sorry. It is also very difficult to ship to Italy, Eastern Europe, and Russia. We are more than willing to allow you to set up your own shipping service.

If you ask us to declare a lesser amount than the true value of the item, we require you to sign a release accepting full responsibility for any delay or confiscation with your country's customs authority. Our insurance company has a waiver releasing them from liability if your nation's customs confiscates or delays delivery. As stated twice above, the title of ownership transfers upon receipt of payment. We ship as a courtesy to you.

For new merchandise, we will ship the item to you and hold on to the warranty papers until you decide you are satisfied with the item. At that point we will send the warranty card or papers with your name filled in. Once that is done, the item becomes NON-RETURNABLE. If you want the paperwork sent with the watch, it will be filled out with your name and is not returnable under any circumstances.
